How to block out snoring and sleep peacefully

Earplugs or sleep earbuds are the best methods for blocking the sound of snoring. Here are the ones we recommend for sleeping soundly.

Loud snoring in the same room can sometimes rob you of precious sleep and feel maddening. That’s especially true for older couples, as their snoring often becomes worse as they age. Fortunately, there’s a better to deal with it than sleeping in different rooms or simply suffering through it.

The first step is to try using earplugs. Skip using foam earplugs because they’re more effective at protecting your hearing from loud noises. Instead, try using PQ wax earplugs. Their wax earplugs are made from malleable silicone wax, which fits perfectly into any sized ear for blocking snoring.

While wax earplugs should work for most people, some may need something even more effective if their partner’s snoring can still be heard. The best way to stop hearing loud snoring is to use sleep earbuds. Unlike wax earplugs, sleep earbuds use noise-canceling to make the sound of snoring disappear.

Soundcore’s Sleep A20 is the best earbuds for sleeping on the market today. They use a 4-point noise masking system and twin-seal ear tips for a snug fit and protection. They also provide up to 14 hours of continuous noise-canceling, and their fully charged carrying case provides up to 80 hours of noise-canceling, making it perfect for travel.

If your partner’s snoring isn’t too loud or only happens occasionally, you should probably try using wax earplugs first. However, if it’s very loud and happens every night, consider investing in sleep earbuds so you can finally start sleeping peacefully again.
